If it’s a family day out to keep the little ones busy then look no further than Walby Farm Park. Cumbria’s largest indoor play area, exciting outdoor play areas, nature trail and animal corner, there’s so much to see here for all the family.
Located close to Carlisle, this 30 acre family park is part of the Walby Grange Farm site and has won numerous awards including Best Tourist Attraction, Best Visitor Attraction and Cumbria Tourism’s Large Visitor Attraction of the Year.
Take a walk along the nature trail to the animal corner you’ll find goats, horse, donkey, ducks, sheep, geese, calves, pigs, rabbits, alpaca and a wallaby, and the demonstration area is a great opportunity to get closer to the animals.
Outdoors you’ll also find the 24 foot drop slide (adults can join in too), ball pool, and sack slide. There are also swings, trampolines and aerial slide in the outdoor play areas. For a bit more action, head to the go-karts, tractor tower, barrel train ride and off-road Land Rover driving. There is also an on-site cafe.
