Skafell Pike and Wastwater

A stunning view of England's tallest mountain, Skafell Pike, with Wast Water beyond. In the far distance is the coast which is only around 10 miles beyond the lake. This was taken from the scree slopes of another well known mountain, Great Gable.

The mighty Skafell Pike stands at 3120 feet and the views from the summit are pretty spectacular.
