Briscoe Lodge self catering apartments are fully self contained and sleep up to six people. The apartments are booked out for a week at a time from Saturday to Saturday. Each apartment is fully equipped with colour TV, DVD player (with a DVD library available), storage heating, cooker, fridge, microwave and all linen. Both apartments have good sized living areas and two bedrooms each. Both have small fitted kitchens and newly renovated bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin. Both have been recently refurbished and each apartment is allocated one car parking space.
We are situated just 2 minutes walk away from Windermere village shops and 10 minutes from the train and bus stations, making us easily accessible for all local amenities with or without a car. Bowness is a short leisurely stroll away, where you will find Lake Windermere and a host of water sports, tours and picnic sights. Ambleside is a short drive or bus ride away with a further variety of tourist attractions. The beautiful surrounding Lakeland fells make our location ideal for walkers, climbers and outdoor enthusiasts.
