Directions
A66 from Penrith (towards Keswick). After 6 miles turn right to Greystoke on the B5288. travel through the hamlet of Motherby and on to Greystoke. At the monument in Greystoke go straight on, following the signs for Johnby. After passing through Johnby carry on through Greystoke Forest for around 2.5 miles. At the crossroads go straight on towards Caldbeck. Carrock Cottages are on the left, just past the wishing well, around half a mile from the cross roads.
