Rowling End House property sleeps upto 8 people & The Mouse House sleeps 2 people, and both are open all year round, winter short breaks available

Both property’s been fully refurbished to a very high quality, In the main House there are 4 bedrooms 2 with ensuite & a large family bathroom with seperate walk in shower and bath. 2 bedrooms have king size beds & the others have single beds. There are 2 lounges both with open fires (logs supplied) fully central heated, large kitchen with oil fuelled Aga and electric oven & hob, also a large american fridge freezer. The Mouse House sleeps 2 people you can request single beds or a large king size bed, there is an opne kitchen and lounge with oven & hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher, the bathroom has a walk in shower sink, wc.  All bookings are Friday to Friday

from junction 40 proceed along the a66, towards Keswick.  bypass Keswick and take the left turning to Portinscal/Newlands Valley, continue through Portinscale past the Marina.  Approx 1.5 miles turn right towards Swinside/Stair/Newlands Valley, go pass the Swinside Inn and head towards Stair, go over the small bridge and up the hill over the cattlegrid, just passed Ellas Cragg guest house you will see a gate on your left with Rowling End Farm on go down this private drive and the cottage is at the bottom.
