Lakeside House has undergone complete restoration and has been redecorated and refurnished to offer luxurious contemporary guest accommodation for visitors seeking a special bed and breakfast stay in Keswick.The building has been completely remodelled and presents fourteen spacious bedrooms including twin and family rooms all en-suite and most bedrooms have spectacular views of the Lake District mountains. We are superbly located on the corner of Lake Road and The Heads just a few minutes’ walk from Derwentwater and The Theatre By The Lake and very close to the shops restaurants and pubs of Keswick town centre - location location location - we have it! A great base from which to explore the beautiful Lake District whether you plan to fellwalk or cycle or just want to relax in comfort and enjoy the magnificent scenery. The recently opened Lakeside House Cafe and Coffee Lounge provides a place to relax take in the views or to just watch the world go by. All our food is where possible locally supplied and fair trade produce. Breakfast provides a selection of juices fruits and yoghurt cereals or porridge to start then a choice of: smoked salmon with scrambled eggs traditional full-grill or the Lakeside House ‘lighter option’ - a freshly buttered crumpet topped with a poached egg accompanied by griddled asparagus spears wrapped in parma ham.Our accommodation covers 4 floors with a lovely light and airy breakfast room a fitness room and drying room facilities for cyclists and walkers.

By car: Follow the signs for Keswick town centre when you approach the mini roundabout in the centre of the town follow signs for BorrowdaleDerwentwater along B5721. After 0.4 mile on your right-hand side you will see The Heads; turn on to the filter and into The Heads. Follow the road keeping left at the fork you will find Lakeside House on the left 50m after the fork opposite the ice cream pavilion.By Bus e.g. from Penrith: From Penrith station take the X5 bus to Keswick the Keswick bus station located outside Booths supermarket. From here cross the road with Booths to the left and follow B5721 signposted BorrowdaleDerwentwater. After 0.4 mile on your right-hand side you will see The Heads. Follow this road keeping left at the fork you will find Lakeside House on the left 50m after the fork opposite the ice cream pavilion.
