Set on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake The Ouse Bridge house is a family run Guest House offering a friendly welcome and fantastic views of Bassenthwaite Lake and Skiddaw. We provide a relaxed atmosphere excellent service delicious food and value for money in a stunning and peaceful location.As well as stunning views we offer comfortable rooms with little extras such as digital TV DVD players free chocolates fluffy towels and free Wifi for guests. We also offer evening meals using much delicious local produce and have a licensed residents lounge. We have a large car park drying room and secure storage for bicycles.

We are situated between Keswick and Cockermouth.Exit the M6 at junction 40 and take the A66 Westbound towards Keswick. By-pass Keswick on the A66 following the signs for Cockermouth.The road follows the western shore of Bassenthwaite Lake for about 5 miles. There is a short stretch of dual carriageway (this used to be the old road and has a number of bends). Approximately 250 yards after the end of the dual carriageway take the first right turn onto a minor road signposted Dubwath and Castle Inn.After just 50 yards turn right again onto the B5291 signposted for Castle Inn.The Ouse Bridge Hotel is a further 50 yards on the left set back from the road.
